The Oregon Manufacturing Innovation Center Research and Development (OMIC R&D; Scappoose, OR) welcomed Zoller Inc. (Ann Arbor, MI; Torrence, CA) as its newest member. Founded in Germany in 1945, Zoller is a provider of tool presetting and measuring, inspection and measuring, tool management software, and storage solutions and automation. The manufacturer has 115 employees across North America and more than 600 employees located in 48 countries across the globe.
“Zoller will be bringing some of its best capabilities to OMIC R&D as it seeks to solve industry’s challenges,” said Michael Gallier, regional sales manager for the Pacific Northwest at Zoller. “We are committed to excellence and it is clear that is OMIC’s focus as well. We look forward to working together with such a strong, diverse group of industry and academic partners and are confident that Zoller’s contribution will have a significant impact on the future of metals manufacturing.”
Zoller also is contributing its newest Titan high-end inspection and measurement machine for precision tools to the OMIC R&D facility.
