Wixom, Mich. — Zimmermann Inc., a maker of milling machines, held an open house at its Wixom, Mich., facility on July 24 and 25.
The company had a demonstration of its FZ33, a compact milling machine designed especially for moldmaking.
On July 24, it milled a large golf ball replica. Also at the open house was a 20-year-old Zimmermann machine, enabling visitors to compare how Zimmermann products have evolved. There was also a model of a FZ40 machine.
Present at the open house were application engineers as well as sales and service team members. The company also had milling solutions partners present from companies such as Mapal, Keller, Siemens, Zoller, Heidenhain, Fischer, Tebis, Unisorb and Haimer.
