Alicona will hold a µCMM Webinar at several times this week. The first webinar, in English, will be held at 10:00 Central European Time on Tuesday, Nov. 27, and is recommended for European and Asian attendees. A version in German will be held the same day at 2:00 PM Central European Time.
For North American attendees, the webinar, in English, will be held Thursday, Nov. 29, at 11:00 AM Central Standard Time.
Alicona says its µCMM is the first purely optical coordinate measurement machine. It combines advantages of tactile coordinate measuring technology and non-contact surface measurement. Users measure dimension, position, shape and roughness of highly complex surface geometries with only one optical sensor. Full automation allows its use also in production.
The webinar provides technical insight information as well as the impact of the optical coordinate measuring system in regard to current challenges in production metrology. A live demonstration and measurement shows measurement accuracy and possible applications.
The webinar will be particularly appropriate for production and quality managers, engineers involved in prototyping and design, and anyone interested in latest developments in coordinate measuring technology, according to Alicona.
